KSPA is a public charter school with college preparatory focus serving grades, 5-8 in the Denver metro area. 91% OF OUR KIPPsters are free or reduced lunch and despite the expectation of failure, KIPP students are outperforming their peers in neighboring schools, as evidenced on CSAP. KIPP Sunshine Peak Academy students spend approximately 70% more time learning than their peers in district public schools. The school day runs from 7:25-5PM Monday - Thursday; 7:25-4PM on Friday; and 9:15-1:00PM approximately two Saturdays per month and 18 summer days from 7:25-2PM.
